  1. Hello,
I am a PhD candidate at Texas A&M and I am studying the way app design communicates and constructs prayer practices. I have a brief question for you about Laudate. Would you contact me please? You can email me at wrbellar@tamu.edu Thanks!

  2. Suggest to Laudate to incorporate with the stock iOS calendar to show Sunday and weekday solemnities with normal saint and revered remembrances. And which day of the church year both weekday and Sundays and which church year it is.

  4. It would be great if Laudate included the daily and Sunday propers for the extraordinary form of the mass. An example: http://extraordinaryform.org/propersweekdays.html

  5. Hello AJ,

The Reflection page doesn't have the text. Please could it be put back.

    Thanks. God Bless-)

  6. Hi AJ
Thanks Be God and Thank You for all the diligence and zeal that pulses through Laudate!
My wife and I are Benedictine Oblates of the Most Holy Divine Will and most of not all of us refer to this app daily.

    Question:
In all the ongoing updates and upgrades, and as my IOS loaded app currently runs, there no longer is a tab for Prayers and also the Douay Reims Bible. Will they be added back-in ?

Yes - there are other apps that have such , but it was so convenient to refer to while already using Laudate

  9. Could you possibly change the colour of the liturgy of the hours text from red to black, or to make it optional? It's not so clear to the visually impaired. Thank you

  14. Can you incorporate order of mass with the daily readings? Make it easier to follow all the way through with out having to jump from one to the other.

  15. Hi there, I am the contact person from CatholicApps.com - I'ld like to speak to you regarding your app.

  16. Many readers and users of the app Laudate are very upset about the daily prayer referencing women that are not Christian examples. What is your response to us? Will you be replacing the source Seek First Community?

  20. I also have deleted your app , I have had it for a few years and I noticed of recent some disturbing remarks on the app. Shame on you all

  21. Shame on you. A wolf in sheep's clothing alright.

  23. Wow! A wolf in sheep's clothing for sure.

  24. Deleting the app right now over this Kamala Harris nonsense. So disappointed.

  25. I was taught not to support evil, and that includes abortion, and to pray for it to end. I am giving notice I am deleting your "Catholic app"

    ReplyDelete
  26. I have deleted your app as well as my family members. How disgusting to put someone who is so possessed in supporting abortion and killing innocents amongst those who are Saints and lived for life?! Who are you? I pray you will repent and be saved!

  27. Shame on your propaganda in promoting a self professed adulter committed to destroying life in all stages of development.
May God forgive me for recommending this app in my Study Rollo to all new baby chicks in the Cursillo movement. I am removing your app that I have used daily and hope to undo the harm that I have done in my recommendations of this site.

  28. Abortion is not the fruit of St.Angela Merici. Harris is not really the Vice-president since she along with Biden, committed federal crimes in manipulating the November 3, 2020 election! That is so Christian to lie and to steal! My friends, better Catholics than you, were witnesses to some of the fraud and have signed sworn affidavits. Abortion is homicide and bishops who support homicide need to be called to repent by us and by fellow bishops! You have no right to look a child in the face with your lack of compassion for the babies who are slaughtered every day at abortion mills. Also, the Communist Chinese virus vaccine or gene therapy used hundreds of freshly delivered babies to steal the kidney tissue from their living bodies!! Shame on you! You need to learn and respect the 10 Commandments!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes, shame on you Laudate personnel. We look forward to your retraction of Ms. Harris’ name in comparison with any Saints.

  30. You shall not kill. Shame on you for trying to be politically correct but not faithful to God's commandments, no matter how pretty you try to adorn it. The only true unity is the one based on God's truth. This app is not faithful to the true Catholic faith anymore. Deleting this app and recommending others to do the same.

  31. I will be deleting your app. I have used it for quite a few years now, but since you seem to think that Kamala Harris, an outspoken proponent of the murder of the unborn up to the moment of birth, is to be mentioned in the same breath as a Catholic SAINT, you have forfeited your right to be called Catholic. Unless you publicly renounce your reflection, in a very strong way, I am done with your app.

  32. I often used Laudate but since you’ve clearly compromised your credibility as a Catholic resource by honoring Kamala Harris who is opposed to just about every tenet of our faith, I’ll be deleting your app. You may have forgotten or chosen to ignore her blatant prejudice against Catholics and Catholic organizations, but I haven’t.

  37. To applaud VP Harris as a person to emulate is disturbing. Her embrace of abortion and her rabid anti-Catholicism makes her the antithesis of Mother Teresa. Except for this, I like your content but I will uninstall this app if it becomes clear that this wasn't a one-time error.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Please remove the work rd Catholic and any association with "catholic" from this site as the sudden subversive use of certain political figures have been put in place, allowing it to be used to fool our brothers and sisters in Christ. Prepare to see a revolt against all so called Catholic apps and a return to traditional and faithful means of conduct. Be warned, the lies will be exposed.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Credibility lost...
This app was something my whole family turned to. Its a shame, we as Catholics have only so many places we can trust to turn to and I thought this app was one of them. What is horrible, is that you manipulated your app by letting us love laudate, then shower us with your falsehood. Maybe laudate figures they could get away with it, get them to trust you long enough, then turn on you when your not looking. Then all the sudden we are sucked in and can't leave...sounds familiar to the pattern of the current world and current administration.
God be praised for your falsehood to be revealed. One point I'd like to make as well, that you claim kamala Harris could have her conversion,, yes,, how nice that would be, but giving her credit where credit is not due and to make he look saintly already, is not how it works. We pray for her conversion, not give her credit for good where it is clear she is not. Including her this way will not make her a saint, it will boast her fuel as the enemy of life. Good bye laudate

  40. I have enjoyed using the Laudate app daily for several years. I’ve appreciated the increase in orthodox and traditional content lately including Latin prayers. I’m confused and disappointed by the recent reflection by Seek First Community mentioning Kamala Harris, one of the most pro-abortion and anti-Catholic politicians in recent history. I’m willing to forgive this and continue using the app chalking this up to an oversight or imprudent decision, but will be more scrutinious of content and willing to switch apps if this appears to be a trend. Be Catholic.

  41. I to have enjoyed using the Laudate app. I also appreciate and thank you for the increase in orthodox and traditional content. I’m disappointed by the recent reflection by Seek First Community mentioning Kamala Harris, one of the most pro-abortion and anti-Catholic politicians in recent history. I would like to see a response explaining how this happened and what is being done to ensure it does not happen again.

  42. I have enjoyed Laudate for many years, but I am greatly dismayed and disappointed by the recent reflection that mentions Kamala Harris next to Saint Mother Theresa and other saints. Harris is the most pro-abortion politician and anti-Catholic in recent history. I am disgusted with this! I hope it is removed or I will remove this app.

  43. So in reflecting my rant and
condemnation of this app yesterday, I have to suggest that we all know that satan is the great divider with falsehoods and lies being a tool for accomplishing this mission. So having said that, is it possible that this app was hacked to destroy our faith in what was solid?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Extremely disappointed with content form your app. I have been using Laudate for years. I am deleting it as soon as I write this post. It is true that one day Vice President Harris may be a saint, but until that day, let us not uphold her with the other great female saints of salvation history. Shame on you!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I have deleted the Laudate app. When will Catholics stop destroying their own beliefs and principles?

    ReplyDelete
  46. My wife and I have deleted your app from all of our devices. So disappointing...we will be sure to encourage our family and friends to find other sources to grow in their CATHOLIC faith.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I am shocked and very disappointed that anyone would compare Kamela Harris with any saint... what are you doing??? I have always enjoyed Laudate, but will now need to find another app as I do not share the same values as the reflection writer.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Horrible and reprehensible act to portray Harris a some kind of 'role model' or something positive to Catholics. App...gone!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Seriously?! Loved your app until now. Very, very sad that you would honor a notorious pro abortion, anti Catholic on a Catholic app.

  50. Kamala Harris name next to Our Lady - what planet are you on! I will delete my app this weekend. I will tell everyone on my podcast over and over again to delete your app.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Friends, we need to be very observant of the content. Joe Biden's version of a "devout" Catholic, is to normalize all things against Catholic teachings. Laudate is on notice. One more lapse and we should all pass the word to delete the app. Amen.

  52. I have enjoyed so much the various offering of Laudate but I am deleting it today for the elevation of a pro baby killing woman next to Saints and Our lady.

  56. I have relied on Laudate for years as a staple of my prayer life. How very shocking that you would permit praise for Kamala Harris, a woman who embodies and promotes so many anti-Catholic and anti=human evils.

I'm not yet deleting the app, but will be watching closely to see if you continue to present inauthentic Catholicism.

  57. Dear Writers, Producers, Owners and Anyone Else Affiliated with the Laudate app,

I use the Laudate app every day in my prayer life. Every single day.
I find it to be a tremendous resource for so much of my prayer life that I cannot imagine not having it.
I can see myself, on my deathbed, using the app to guide me into the next life.

Your including a reference to Kamala Harris as a fruit of the work of St. Angela Merci is scandalous.
It causes me to question the wisdom and intelligence of anyone who is associated with Laudate app.
I will seriously consider removing the app from my phone if you do not print an apology and a resolution to be more careful in the future in a very prominent place on the app itself for at least one week.
Whoever thought that positive reference to Kamala Harris was a good idea should have his or her employment with the Laudate app called into question.
It is an egregious lapse of judgment to have included that positive reference to Kamala Harris.

You really should be ashamed of yourselves.
I do expect a reply to this message.

  58. I have used Laudate app almost every day and recommended it. I am horrified by your referring to Kamala Harris as the fruit of St Agnes Merci, ie of Catholicism. First she isn’t Catholic . Second she has gone out of her way to persecute pro life people. She has a abused her office as an attorney general to do so. She has let law breakers, those who illegally trafficked in baby parts go free, and prosecuted those who exposed them. She thinks every abortion is great. That there should actually be more of them and that those who oppose it should be forced by law to pay for them. That pro life people should shut up and put up. As such I am going to give you a week to apologize and retract this abomination. I will be charitable and assume you are ignorant of these facts. But now you are not. If you really believe as Kamala Harris does I will need to delete your app and give you a bad review. Telling all the people I recommended you too and helped install the app to remove it.

  59. Hi. I may delete this app after using it for many many years, due to the Kamala Harris challenge.
    Thanks.
    May God help us all.

  60. I was shocked to see pro-abortion politician Kamala Harris' name mentioned along with great Catholic saints in a recent daily meditation. Then I was outraged to see a response by the reflection writers doubling down on their actions. If I do not see an immediate formal repudiation and apology by Laudate and a commitment to future Catholic orthodoxy, I will delete this app from all of my families devices. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  61. What do you, the keepers of The Laudate App, have to say about honoring Kamala Harris, a publicly known adulteress and proponent of killing the unborn, in the same sentence as Mother Theresa and the Blessed Mother of Jesus?
And what do you have to say about the vile and disgusting response to justifiably outraged true Catholics, posted from your official account as reported here https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/catholic-laudate-app-hosts-reflection-honoring-abortion-activist-vp-kamala-harris?
I’ve deleted your app and will urge all my Catholic sisters and brothers to do the same, until such time as you publicly disavow this blasphemy and terminate the apostate who is responsible for this heresy.

  62. My husband and I are very disappointed, upset, and angered with the reflection by Seek First Community promoting the inclusion of Kamal Harris alongside the names of faithful Catholic saints. Am I to assume that Laudate has changed their allegiance from the Truth of Christ to that of the “WOKE” movement? If so, shame on you for the scandal you brought on our faith!!!!! If not, seriously reconsider removing Seek First Community future contributions to Laudate

  64. You, as the owners of the Laudate app must put out a public apology for allowing a personal opinion of one who puts Kamala Harris in the same company as many holy women who dedicated their lives to living their faith and living by what the Catholic Church believes and teaches. The Church has taught for thousands of years that abortion is intrinsically evil. I have used the Laudate app thinking it was an app that followed the teachings of the Catholic Church and not allow Satan into it. Again, please give a public apology and find a way to assure your user that this will never happen again.

    ReplyDelete
  65. There must be a better job done of monitoring what is put on to your app...this is very disturbing to all who seek to promote the sanctity of life...this woman (Harris) has proven herself to be a major threat to the life of any unborn child!

    ReplyDelete
  66. The Laudate app has become a staple of my morning routine. Please issue an apology for the reflection honoring Kamala Harris, and stick to orthodox Catholic teaching. I would hate to lose Laudate, but I cannot patronize or recommend a site that honors someone so staunchly pro-abortion as the vice president.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thank you for letting us know who you really are so we can stop supporting a fake Catholic. I’ve really had it with all these traitors to the faith. Why do you remain in the Church? To lead souls astray? Shameful!! Repent before you lose your soul.

  68. Will absolutely be deleting this app and sharing this disturbing news far and wide.

  69. I am deleting you Laudate app from my phone after the January 27 reflection listing Kamala Harris as a "fruit" in the same contest as St Mother Theresa. In light of her actions that reflect anti catholic bias and her stance on abortion with a 100% NARAL rating. I question the true catholicity of this app. I am sending this information to all of my Catholic contacts.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I will be deleting the Laudate app immediately for supporting a non-Catholic and abortionist like Kamala Harris as a "fruit" in the same contest as Sr. Mother Theresa. I will not recommend this app to any of my friends or family members and will certainly recommend to others to delete this app. Very disappointed!

  71. Very disappointed in some of the recent reflections on the Laudate app. Been using this app for years and have loved the reflections. Sad that someone felt the need to try to discreetly push their liberal leanings on faithful Catholics hoping they wouldn't notice. We noticed. Goodbye Laudate app.
